The Miami Herald
The Miami Herald is South Florida’s oldest newspaper. Now one of the nation’s largest daily newspapers, The Herald endured the Florida boom and subsequent bust in the early 1920s, the devastating 1926 hurricane and the Great Depression. It flirted with receivership but regained financial stability in the 1930s.
